He was predeceased by: his parents, James LeRoy and Agatha Chambers (Gottsacker); his wife Carole Ann Kohls (Bailey); his siblings, Otis (Verna), Lotis Tessman (Harold), Eulia Morrow (Verne), James (Eleanor), Basil (Helen), Marvin (Gloria), Luisch, Joseph, Dorles McGinnis (Gordon), Dorothy Benjamin (Donald), Everett and Eileen Schoenbeck (William); his son Todd; and his grandson Timothy.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Chambers (Lori), Platte of South Dakota, Kevin Chambers (Marilyn), Joanne Slawson, Janet Cruz, Jeff Bailey and Richard Kohls; his grandchildren, Maggie Vanderlinde, Tyler Chambers, Natalie Chambers, Lacie Chambers, Violet Weigel, Danielle Uhlir, Bobbi McMillan, Dustin Slawson, Stephanie Sherwood, Nathan Kohls, Vegas Cruz, Jade Perron, Ashley Kohls, Jaxon, Merric, Harris, Alaina, Wyatt, Dillin, Marlee, Bebe, Brylee, Ela, Jaelyn, Liam, Caleah and Harper; his adoptive daughter Gina Potter; his sisters-in-law, Joanne Chambers and Beatrice Fish; and also Ronald Norris. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
