It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Socorra Maldonado-Archunde of Grants, New Mexico, born in Bluewater, New Mexico, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Archunde; her parents, Desidorio Maldonado and Gregoria "Silva" Maldonado; her sisters, Elvia Domiques and Flora Maldonado; and her great-nephew Robert Sanchez, Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Mary Sanchez (Victor) of Los Lunas; and her nieces and nephews, Edward Sanchez of Belen, Ricky Dominquez of Albuquerque, Carolyn Sanchez of Albuquerque, Desirey of Albuquerque and Vanessa Sanchez of Los Lunas.
