He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Porter and Mary Archunde Porter; his grandchildren, Johnny Valdez and Gassaway Twins; and his great great grandchild Elijah.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Marie Porter (Mark Ewell) of Grants, NM and Sharon Gassaway (Jason Gassaway) of Los Lunas, NM; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Timo, Frank Marez and Jason Gassaway II; and his wife Marcella "Marcy" Porter. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and Sister's/Brother's-In-Law.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the San Rafael Catholic Church (100 Guadalupe Plaza, San Rafael, NM 87051). A rosary will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
