She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisquita "Gurule" Marez and Mariano Marez, Sr.; and her siblings, Prescilliano Marez, Emilio Marez, Andy Marez and Helen Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Maestas of Milan, Michael Maestas of Albuquerque and Melody Tapp of Milan; and her brothers, Mariano Marez, Jr. of San Rafael and Salvador Marez of San Rafael. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
