He was predeceased by: his parents, Damacio Tafoya and Erma Mirabal Tafoya; and his sister Marcella Henderson. He is survived by: his wife Josie Tafoya; and his children, Dale Jr. (Andrea Tafoya) and Ed (Judy Tafoya).
