He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orlando Montes Sr. and Cecilia Chavez Montes; his spouse Viola Trujillo; his children, Veronica Montano (Chito) of Show Low, AZ, Corinne Prudencio (Fabian) of Glencoe, Ray Montes (Norma) of Ruidoso Downs, Mary Prudencio (Edwin) of San Patricio, Jerome Montes of Ruidoso and Maria Olayo (Sal) of Alamogordo; and his brothers, David Montes of Glencoe, Michael Montes of Albuquerque, Richard Montes and Filbert Montes. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
