It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ethel Jackson of Gila, New Mexico, born in Silver City, New Mexico, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Cureton and Edith S. Sloan Cureton; and her husband George Jackson Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, George Jackson Jr. (Mayra), Thomas Jackson (Thorma) and Joe Jackson (Melba). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
