He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Duran Upshaw (Deana), Jason Brown and Trent; his grandchildren, Jaren Upshaw, Corey Upshaw, Lucas Upshaw, Dylan Upshaw, Lilly and Willow; his sisters, Elaine Thomas, Shirlene McCraith and Arlene Begaye; his wife Connie Brown; his parents, Billy Brown Sr. and Irene Brown; and his brothers, Bill Brown, Benson Brown and David Mike.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cope Memorial Chapel (1830 Barbara Ave, Gallup, NM 87301). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park- Gallup (21 NM-118, Gallup, NM 87301). A reception was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rock Springs Chapter House.
