Vida Pruitt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vida Pruitt (Fort Sumner, New Mexico), who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vida Pruitt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley and Eula Fay Franks (Underwood); her husband Ewell James Pruitt; and her brother William Romalice Franks (Bill). She is survived by: her sons, Jerry (Patti Pruitt) of Lubbock and Norman (Laura Pruitt) of Las Cruces; her siblings, Donald Franks (Bobbie) of Fort Sumner and Adie Achen (Tyson) of Las Cruces; her sisters-in-law, Charlene Franks of Fort Sumner, Wanda Wilson of Gore, Doris Pruitt of Checotah and Betty Pruitt of Checotah, Oklahoma.; her grandsons, Sean Douglas Pruitt of Houston, Texas, Brian Timothy Pruitt of Lubbock, Texas, Ethan James Pruitt (Shuko) of Okinawa, Japan and Jason Paul Pruitt (Stacey) of San Antonio, Texas; her great grandchildren, Sean Douglas Pruitt (Bonny) of Schwandorf, Germany, Cindy Marie Pruitt of Schwandorf, Germany, Bethany Nicole Pruitt of Lubbock, Texas, Bryton Chance Pruitt, Brooklynn Reese of Amarillo, Texas, Leah June Pruitt, Ryan James Pruitt of Okinawa, Japan, Dylan Carter Pruitt and Avalyn Grace Pruitt of San Antonio, Texas; and her great great grandchild Damon Douglas Pruitt of Schwandorf, Germany.. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Due to the statewide restrictions pertaining to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the graveside services were limited to the immediate family only.
