With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Gallegos of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, born in Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on September 18, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Benny Apodaca; her great grandchild Corbin Aragon Maxwell; and her significant other Johnny Rodriguez. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Lewis (Josh) of Newberry, Andrea Maxwell of Fort Sumner and Charlene Gallegos of Fort Sumner; her grandchildren, Carlos Gallegos (Gina), Nathaniel Maxwell (Victoria), Kayla Maxwell (Reyes), Noah Maxwell, Jacob Maxwell (Evangelese), Monique Baldwin (Raekwon), Megan Midkiff (RJ), Devon Lewis (Kali), Isaiah Lewis, Elijah Lewis and Alex Chavez; and her siblings, Juana Lahti (Wayne) of Colorado Springs, CO, Belinda Lowther (Buddy) of Colorado Springs, CO, Anna Dodge of Mesquite, TX and Jake Martinez (Debbie) of West Minister, Colorado.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
