It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Holland of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, born in Quail, Texas, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn Holland; her daughter Glenda Collins; her sons-in-law, Bill Collins and Rick Giannini; and her siblings, Othar, Herman, Paul, Solan, Bobby, Ina Roberts and Juanita Foreman.
She is survived by: her children, Mel Holland (Pat) of Ruidoso, NM and Nancy Giannini of Fort Sumner; her grandchildren, Brad Holland (Kasey) of Fort Sumner, Brooke Roper (Ryan) of Alto, NM, Michelle Bonds (Lyndel) of Fort Sumner, Michael Giannini of Fort Sumner, Marcus Giannini of Oklahoma City, OK and William Collins of Prosperty, SC.; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Derrick Holland, Faith, Payson Roper, Tra, Aubrey, Cayven, Harley Bonds and Courtney Collins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
