It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reina Gonzales (Fort Sumner, New Mexico), born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Gonzales; her brothers, Albert Chavez and Henry Gallegos; her daughter Dee RomaNose; her granddaughter Rachelle Willie; and her friend Eva Chavez.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Gonzales of Fort Sumner, Betty Gonzales Terrell (Richard) of Fort Sumner, Kelley Gallegos (Louie) of Fort Sumner and Aaron Chavez of Fort Sumner; her grandchildren, Derrick Terrell (Jackie) of Fort Sumner, Caleb Terrell of Las Cruces, Cory Terrell of Fort Sumner, Malachi Lucero of Fort Sumner, Christopher Gallegos, Stephen Gallegos, Anthony Gallegos, Angelina Lucero, Reyna Lucero, Haliana Lucero and Krystal Gutierrez; and her brothers, Michael Chavez of Albuquerque and Jerry Chavez of Albuquerque. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
