With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nick Lucero of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, who passed away on February 14, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Lucero and Martina Garcia Lucero; his brother Agapito Lucero; and his uncle Rumaldo Garcia. He is survived by: his friend Fort Sumner; his wife Dora Lucero; his children, Veronica Lucero and Nicolas F. Lucero of Fort Sumner; his siblings, Gabriel Lucero (Sis), Ruben Lucero of Grand Junction, CO, Simon Lucero of Fort Sumner, Jean Boughton of Albuquerque, Mary Lucero of Fort Sumner and Theresa Lucero of Fort Sumner; his uncle Jake Lucero (Josephine) of Fort Sumner; and his aunt Rebecca Lopez of Fort Sumner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
