He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Burk; his stepfather Tom Tanuz; and his son John Allen Burk. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Burk of Lockesburg, AR and Justin Burk of Lockesburg, AR; his sisters, Terri Joyce (Michael) and Jeanie Kraft (Dennis); his mother Wilma Tanuz of Fort Sumner; and his close friend Tracy Ramsey of Fort Sumner. He is also survived by many relatives and good friends.
