He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pablo Maes, Gilbert Maes, George Maes, Juan Maes, Pete Maes, Maria Baca and Maclovia Olivas; his nephews, Dario Lopez Jr., George Sena Jr. and David Gauna; and his brothers-in-law, Dario Lopez and George Sena Sr..
He is survived by: his sisters, Ricardita Gauna (Vidal) of Fort Sumner, Gloria Sena of Fort Sumner, Ellen Lopez of Fort Sumner and Theresa Maes (Stash) of Fort Sumner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chavez Funeral Home - Fort Sumner (830 5th St, Fort Sumner, NM 88119). A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
