It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Demetrio Gonzales of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Corina Gonzales; his siblings, Arturo Gonzales and Corrine Casaus; and his grandson Charles Stinson. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Bauman (George Wild) of Barre, Carlos Gonzales Sr. (Lizbeth) of Lakeland, Michael Gonzales (Daphne) of Clovis and Maria Gauna of Lubbock, Texas.; and his brother Tito Gonzales of Fort Sumner. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
