He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Hopper and Frances Hopper; his wife Marylee Hopper; his sisters, Edna Marie McIntire and Imagene Cheyne; his brother-in-law Raymond McLain; and his niece Cindy McClain Williams.

He is survived by: his sisters, Carlene Keith (Derle), Joyce Neagle (Jimmy), Wynell Richards (Jan), Phyllis Dobbins (Donnie) and Rosella Moore; his children, Bobby Hopper (Laura), Toni Hopper Pendergrass (Doug), Carroll, Slugger and Marla Schmidt (Ken); his grandchildren, Bo Hopper (Mandi), Christi Hopper, Levi Hopper (Charlie), Dacyn Walsh (Josh), Danney Brown (Meisje), Weston Lewis, Lauryn Lewis, Walker Lewis, Talyn Crum (Cody), Douglas Pendergrass, Gentry Hopper, Raylee Pendergrass, Frances Hopper, Oliver Hopper and Hadley Pendergrass; and his friend Kelley Brooks. He is also survived by his 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
