He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Foster and Lola Fae Foster. He is survived by: his wife Dusti Foster; his sons, Brandon Foster of Fort Sumner and Royce Foster (Michelle) of Fort Sumner; his stepchildren, Jared Gum (Yvonne) of Clovis and Stormy Aguirre (Chance) of Portales; and his brother Howard Lee Foster (Karen) of Fort Sumner. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, three nephews and one niece.
