He is survived by: his son Gustavo Lopez; his grandchildren, Michael Lopez and Olivia Lopez of Fort Sumner; his stepsons, Santos Zambrano, Ritchie Zambrano and Hector Zambrano; and his siblings, Sonny Apodaca (Irene) of Clovis, Carlos Lopez (Brenda) of Fort Sumner, Gloria Coronado of Albuquerque, Jean Broughton of Albuquerque, Deanna Martinez of Portales and Angela Lucero (Gilbert) of Rio Rancho. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many close friends.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Anthony Catholic Church. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Anthony Cemetery - Fort Sumner (1120 Mc Cabe St, Fort Sumner, NM 88119).
