It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Donald Smith (Farmington, New Mexico), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William Donald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Coleen Walker-Smith; his daughters, Amanda Elser and Alice Smith; his grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole, Madison, Leuxian and Isaiah; and his brother Dan Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home (103 E Ute St, Farmington, NM 87401).
A reception will follow at the Funeral Home. 'In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter, a cause close to Bill's heart.
