She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arlice Calhoun and Delphia Irene Calhoun (Elbert Lee Roy); her close friend David Beckman; her daughter Lynn Rupp; her brothers, Charles Calhoun, Calvin Calhoun and Carroll Calhoun; and her grandson Tony Rupp.
She is survived by: her husband Elbert Lee Roy Pate; her children, Doug Pate (Abby Pate), Barbara Toward (John Toward) and Kim Brewer (Richard Brewer Jr.); and her brother William Calhoun. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
