He is survived by: his wife Pauline Platero; his daughters, Verna Platero, Earlene Jackson, Marlene Day, Grandchildre (Reggie Jackson), Raina Perkins, Kaycie Johnson, Vannah Peterson, Savannah Whitehair (Brandon Platero), Maychel Platero, Chelsea Knotchapone and Demetrich Knotchapone; and his great grandchildren, Alonzo Jackson, Atleigh Velarde, Alyssa Velarde, Taliah Velarde, Danielle Johnson, Kaleb Johnson, Lily Peterson, Charlie Peterson, Jackson Peterson, Nevaeh Whitehair and Matthias Whitehair.
