She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucas Chavez and Delubina Chavez; her brother Abe Chavez (Delfine Sanchez); and her daughters, Loretta Sanchez and Lisa Martinez.
She is survived by: her sisters, Effie Ortega and Marvine Devargas; and her children, Emma Brucks (Roy), Johnny Garcia (Terry), Jeanette Enriquez, Steve Garcia (Virgina), Kathy Vialpando (Melissa), Kevin Sanchez and Renee Montoya (Charles). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.
