He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Benny Valdez; his siblings, Linda Shelton and Sammy Valdez; his wife Laura Valdez; his children, Jason Valdez (Lyndsie), Nathan Valdez, Jeremy Valdez (Natalie) and Larissa Kleinhans (Travis); his mother Eliza Saiz; and his siblings, Vicky Dimas, Edda Varland, Sharon Sugimoto and Benny Valdez. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren.
