He was predeceased by : his parents, Authur Rose and Marie Rose. He is survived by : his son Richard Hefner; his wife Barbra Rose; and his sons, Steve Rose, Donald Rose and Andrew Hefner (Janice). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cope Memorial Chapel (404 W Arrington St, Farmington, NM 87401).
