She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Park and Mary Park; her husband Emmett Walling; and her son Jeff Walling. She is survived by: her sons, Stuart Walling (Penny) of Tulsa and Emmett (Randall Breckenridge); her grandchild Alora; her son Richard Breckenridge (Kathryn); her granddaughters, Jasmine and Rose of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; her brother Loyal Park of Lincoln; her nephew Devon Park of Broomfield; her niece Rosann Park-Jones (Ross Jones) of Winnetka; her great-nieces, Emily, Rachel and Carrie; and her caregivers, Dr. Sardar Zakariya Imam and Dr. Lisa Ereifej. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
Since the early 2000s, K. K. Walling has served as a Director on the Capitol Art Foundation Board which oversees the art collection in the New Mexico State Capitol in Santa Fe.
