With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Colleen Christensen of Farmington, New Mexico, born in Durango, Colorado, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Evensen and Elma Evensen; her husband William Brent Christensen; her daughter Tamma Clarine; her son-in-law Dan Clarine; her granddaughters, Skylar Clarine and Maren Christensen; and her siblings, Elaine Bard and Val Evensen.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Christensen (Debbie) of Laie, HI, Kori Johnston (Terry) of Fredericksburg, VA, Kassy Seibert (Tom) of Golden, CO, Tessa Christensen of Farmington, NM and Lenae Torgerson (Mike) of Annabella, UT; her grandchildren, Chloe and Jonah Christensen; her children, Joshua Clarine (Brenda), Megan Perry (Cameron), Zachary Clarine, Makenna, Bridger, Hunter, Sawyer, Britton, Asher Johnston, Sadie McCracken (Josh), Tanner, Aliya, Dani, Ora and Jacob Torgerson; her great grandchild Rhett Perry; and her brother Ronald Evensen (Shirley) of Provo, UT..
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1310 E 25th St, Farmington, NM 87401). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (1606 N Dustin Ave, Farmington, NM 87401).
