He was predeceased by: his sisters, Nellie and Jane; and his grandson Matthew. He is survived by: his son John William (Billy); his wife Daphne; his children, Peggy (Shane), Billy (Laura) and Alan (Gina); and his brother Lloyd (Joyce). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
