She was predeceased by: her parents, Toribio Valdez and Matiana Valdez; her husband Joe Sandoval (Jake); her children, Gerald, Norma, Leroy and Gloria; and her grandchildren, Baby Johnny, Desmond, Kris Jr., Zachariah and Aria.
She is survived by: her children, Nick Sandoval (Antonia), Rebecca Duran, Peggy Herrera, Dorothy Herrera (Felix), Frances Barela (John) and Georgia Harrison (Lincoln); her siblings, Julia Candelaria, Abel Valdez and Richard Mantano; and her daughter Becky. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great grandchildren.
