It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Marion May (Farmington, New Mexico), who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Frye and Ila Frye; her husband Leon May; her daughter Lola Rebecca May; her siblings, Donald Frye, Merrill Frye, Andrew Frye, Chester Frye Jr., Minnie Honeywell, Frances Wilkins and Nadine Morrison; and her granddaughter Elizabeth May Niemeyer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Newton (Darryl), Wendy Ferguson (Stanley), Amy May, Melissa Lightner (Dan) and Karen Gifford (R. Jack); her sisters, Laura Carpenter and Patricia Putman; and her granddaughter Erica May. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
