He was predeceased by: his wife Odette Ward; his parents, Clyde Ward Sr. and Emma Ward (Deyapp); and his brother Clyde Ward Jr. (Tommy). He is survived by: his sons, Shane Ward (Kirstin), Brandon Ward and Travis Ward; his siblings, Sam Ward Sr. (Willard), Jimmy Garcia, Frank Lopez, Iva Garcia (Jimmy), Eve Lopez (Frank) and Cecilia Ward; and his grandchildren, Colin Gilley, Madison Gilley, Keatyn Ward, Jacoby Ward and Barrett Ward. He is also survived by his wife, four kids, and five grandkids.
