He was predeceased by: his father Don Sanford; the mother of his children Sandra Sanford; and his son Justin Beck. He is survived by: his mother Della Sanford (Ferguson); his wife Amanda Sanford; his children, Jesse Sanford, Alex Neeley and Jayme Mead (Nathan); and his sisters, Debbie Buser (Jim) and Donna Davee (Mike). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Family requests that memorials and donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
