He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Spencer; his children, Dennis Spencer (Sheryle) and Melissa Spencer; his siblings, Sherron Spencer and Nelda Getman; his grandchildren, Jessica Finch (Tyler) and Adam Spencer; his nieces, Abby Atencio Fitzpatrick, Cammy Reeves, Patty Salazar and Connie Hoffman; and his nephew Rusty Hoffman.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge #1747, Odd Fellows, Duck Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, San Juan Wildlife Federation and a Life Time member of the NRA.
