He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Shaw and Bud Shaw; and his son Russell. He is survived by: his significant other Sheila Dupree; his children, Ryan (Shannon), Deanna Nichols (Brian) and Mitsuo Sakuma (Maki); his siblings, Debbie Haggard (Ted) and Rocky (Kim); and his grandchildren, Isaiah, Roman, Shantel Harwell, Lacey Morgan, Tyler, Mercedeez, Savannah, Chipper, Cheyenne, Ian Nichols and Mile Sakuma.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA.org) or to your favorite charity.
