He was predeceased by: his father Bernardo Sanchez Jr.; and his grandparents, Juan Pablo, Maria Adelita Valdez, Bernardo Sanchez Sr. and Josepha G. Sanchez.

He is survived by: his daughter Maria Danielle Sanchez; his mother Josefa Gregorita Sanchez; his daughter Angelica Gabrielle Sanchez; his siblings, Oracio, Epifanio, Gregorio, Jose, Patricio Sanchez and Anita Sanchez; his grandchild Kyle Wyatt Golding; and his brother Dave Christensen.

A rosary will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cope Memorial Chapel - Farmington (404 W Arrington St, Farmington, NM 87401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (500 N Mesa Verde Ave, Aztec, NM 87410). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Aztec Cemetery (700 Chamiza Ave, Aztec, NM 87410).
