He was predeceased by: his parents, Melquiadez Barela and Esther Barela. He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his children, Dina (Sam), Michael, Albert (Jessica), Elizabeth (Mike) and Joel (Ali); his grandchildren, Bradley, Aubrey and Alyson; his great grandchildren, Anthony, Paris and Nyx; and his brothers, Joseph (Herm) and Abe.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (5661 College Blvd, Farmington, NM 87402).
