He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his adoptive parents, Juan B. Martinez and Aleja Martinez; his stepsiblings, Johnnie B. Martinez and Tita Trujillo; his nephew Patricio Trujillo; and his parents-in-law, Augustin and Dorotea Garcia.
He is survived by: his close friend Julie Ortiz; his nephews, Mick, Gino Trujillo and Benjie Valdez; his goddaughter Yolanda Serna (Eddie); and his pet Shih Tzu Terrior.
