He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Cata and Juanita Cata; his siblings, Jake Cata, John Cata, JoAnn Youngbear, Ethee Murphy, Yvette Youngbear and Nicole Edmonds; and his nephew Ben Youngbear of Ohkay Owingeh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Markesha Cata (Brittany Esquibel) and Marshay Cata; his granddaughter Remilee White of Ohkay Owingeh; his son Mark Martinez of San Ildefonso; his sister Georgia Morgan of Gallup; and the mother of his children Mildred White of Ohkay Owingeh.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 from 4:30-5:30 p. m. at Rivera Family Funeral Home of Espanola, followed by services Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 at Ohkay Owingeh beginning at 9 a. m. Please respectfully follow COVID-19 social distancing practices as well as remaining masked.
