He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrocinio Maestas and Juanita Maestas; his son Manuel Maestas Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jeanette; his siblings, Leo, Ernie, Johnny, Mary, Bernice and Margaret; his son-in-law Donald Archuleta; his grandchildren, Beverly Trujillo and Rhonda Maestas; his granddaughter-in-law Crystal Maestas; his great grandchild Eric Romero; and the mother of his children Vitalia Maestas.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Maestas (Archie), Helen Archuleta, Mary Trujillo (Lito), Larry Maestas (Sandra) and Cathy Guerrero (Antonio); and his sister Lucy Fazzio of Vancouver. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
