He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Velasquez and Carlota Velasquez; his grandparents, Merejildo, Natividad Martinez, Venceslao and Rosa Velasquez; and his siblings, Lucy Lovato, Angelica Anderson, Josephine and Juan Velasquez.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his sons, Ronald (Cynthia), Margarito (Lenora), Bennie (Cristy) and Ricardo; his grandchildren, Johnny, Desiree, Alexandra, Angelina, Unica, Naomi, Zach and Vicente; his sisters, Rosa and Sandra Gonzales; his sister-in-law Jamie Chacon; and his friend Benito Morfin.
