She was predeceased by: her husband Eliseo M. Valdez Jr.; her parents, Jose C. Trujillo and Belen Trujillo; her siblings, Cordelia Trujillo (Infant), Eulalia Garcia (Lala), Rosie McCall, Louisa Evans (Lou), Floyd Trujillo and Jimmy E. Trujillo; and her granddaughter Miranda E. Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Johnell Young (Robert), Leonard Valdez (Cindy), Elaine Martinez, Larry Valdez (Rosalie), Joseph Valdez (Rachel) and Jacqueline Rodriguez (Cesar); and her sister Frances Martinez. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations of Espanola (305 Cll Salazar, Española, NM 87532). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
