We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2020, at the age of 57, Joe Abeyta of Espanola, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Sr. Abeyta and Floraida Abeyta; his brothers, Charlie Jr. and Mike Abeyta; his grandson Martin Palacios Jr.; his nieces, Lorena Casteneda, Ernestina "Tina" Dominguez and Melinda "Mindy" Abeyta; his great-nephew Oscar Casteneda; and his brother-in-law Estevan Gallegos.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Martinez, Heather Lopez and Daniel Ray Lopez; his siblings, Eida Dominguez (Tony), Lorraine Archuleta (Roy), Polly Gallegos, Nora Marrufo (Manuel), Loyola Sena (Rick), Vivian Vega, Eva Varela (Lorenzo), Leroy Abeyta (Magdalena), Rudy Abeyta (Alice) and Ivan Abeyta (Sylvia); and his grandchildren, Leticia Martinez, Camila Palacios, Jesus Palacios, Jose Palacios, Matthew Martinez, Nyci Rodriguez, Isabella Rodriguez, Isaiah Rodriguez, Amaya Aguirres and Reina Aguirres. He is also survived by thirty-two nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, many cousins and friends.
