It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Martinez of Espanola, New Mexico, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparent Tita; her parents, Alfonso Padilla and Lucinda Padilla; her siblings, Sally Martinez and Gilbert Padilla; her son Charles Martinez; her granddaughter Amanda Martinez; her daughters, Yolanda Ortega (Robert Ortega) and Diane Drexler (Andy Drexler); and her brothers, Joseph Padilla (Jacqueline Padilla) and Joe. She was also cherished by her 7 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in honor of the Martinez Family, to the Hoy Recovery Program, located in Espanola and specializing in substance abuse recovery.
