She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Valdez and Dolores "Lola" Valdez; her husband David Trujillo; and her brothers, Conrad, Freddy, Tony, Norman and George Valdez.
She is survived by: her children, Bernadette (Abraham), David (Gloriana) and Patricia (Henry); and her grandchildren, Abraham Antonio, Analiese and Soledad.
A prayer was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (908 W Calle Rosario, Española, NM 87532). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Or in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the New Mexico Acequia Association or Tewa Women United in Elaine's honor.
