He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Rodriguez and Virginia Rodriguez; his son Pablo Rodriguez; and his siblings, Josefina, Matilda, Rosinda, Sofia, Chuy, Mario and Sebastian.

He is survived by: his children, Alma, Lupita and Gustavo Rodriguez, Jr.; the mother of his children Manuela; his grandchildren, Kegan, Bre'ann Rodriguez, Ricky, Carlos and Luis Cisneros; and his siblings, Angelita and Guillermo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
