He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank, Sr. Royster and Dorothy Royster (Jones); and his brothers, Samuel, Donald and Eugene.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Aaron Royster, Anne Royster, Cassandra Griggs, Lawrence Griggs, Kathy Brown (James) and Dick Mayfield; and his brothers, James Cary, Michael Cary and Cornell Cary. He is also survived by grandchildren; 28/great-grandchildren.
