He is survived by: his wife Angie; his children, Julie Tapia and Leroy Tapia; his sister Anisetta; and also, Anabelle Gallegos, Charles Tapia, Emily Freebee, Lydia Tapia, Johnnie Tapia and Maria Ricard. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren.
