She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Hoeffner and Clara Froehlich Hoeffner; her husband Carl Bassett; her son James; her siblings, Philip, George, John Hoeffner and Clare Earl; and her siblings-in-law, William Earl, John Pulvirent, Karen, Ann and Edith Hoeffner.
She is survived by: her children, Frances, Eugene, William, John and Kenneth Bassett; her daughter-in-law Julie Bassett; her grandchildren, Megan Kulju (Jason Kulju), Natasha Romero (Casey Charleton), Amanda Bassett (Hicham Chebakou), William Bassett (Megan Sperber), Kelly Bassett, Olivia Fenton (Jacob Fenton) and Christopher Weiss (Leslie Gideon); her great grandchildren, Jason (JJ), Makenna and Mallory Kulju; her grandchildren, Aubern, Kennedy, Clara Mae Bassett, Cora Fenton, Emma Garcia, Levi Gideon, Eli Charleton and Solomon Charleton-Jones; and her sister Marie Pulvirent. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hanlon Mortuary (807 Central Ave, Moriarty, NM 87035). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (85 NM-344, Edgewood, NM 87015). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Mountain Valley Cemetery.
