He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lynn Cunningham and Alice Cunningham (Johnson); his wife Kathy; his children, Amy Cunningham, Jennifer Fenstermacher (Mike), Joy Tucker, Daniel Cunningham and Rebecca Fort; and his sisters, Kathleen Barker, Patricia Smith, Ann Foreman, Jean McConnell and Lynne Brown. He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Albuquerque Rescue Mission or the Salvation Army.
