James Crosby Obituary
James H. Crosby, 39, known affectionately as "Crosby," was born on February 27, 1985, in Albuquerque, NM and tragically passed away on March 17, 2024, in the same city. His departure has left a void that can never be filled for those who knew and loved him.
Crosby's life was defined by his unwavering love for his family and his unyielding dedication to serving others. As a paramedic, he selflessly devoted himself to helping those in need every day. He possessed a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back to a stranger without hesitation. His compassion knew no bounds; he touched countless lives with his kindness and generosity.
Above all else, Crosby cherished his beloved wife Erin and their three children: Ravyn, Kyle, and Ellyana. He found immeasurable joy in being a husband and father – it was evident that they were the center of his world. His love for them radiated from within him like an eternal flame.
In addition to being an exceptional family man and dedicated professional, Crosby had an infectious spirit that drew people towards him effortlessly. His larger-than-life personality earned him many friends who will forever cherish the memories created with this big loving giant.
He is survived by numerous family members including brothers William (Ursula) & Justin; sisters Renee, Connie (James), Wendy, Cory; Hannah (Nat); Father David; Stepmother Marcella; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family members who adored him deeply.
A celebration of Crosby's remarkable life will take place at Harris & Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM on Tuesday, March 26th from 5 pm-7 pm where there will be a Family Viewing followed by Rosary at 7 pm.
The funeral service will be held at Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood NM on Wednesday, March 27th at 11 am with reception to follow - providing an opportunity for all those whose lives were touched by Crosby to come together one last time before saying goodbye.
Though we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary soul far too soon, we find solace in knowing that James H. Crosby's legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will live on through each person whose life he touched. May you rest peacefully now, Crosby, your memory forever etched in our hearts.
